Sports, Recreation and Relaxation
Besides its unique beach and reef experience, Lahami Bay Beach Resort hosts a wide variety of facilities for energetic sports, recreation or pure relaxation. These include the Kids Club, Water Sports centres, the Spa, the Gym and the Paddle Tennis and Sports Courts among several other activities to cater for guests of all ages.
Beach
The kilometres-long beach is wide and sandy, extending as a sandy sea bed sloping gently into the naturally protected bay. The proximity and variety of the house coral reef sites make it possible to admire them, some even by just walking in the sea without swimming.
Swimming Pools
The adult swimming pool is located at the centre of the resort with several connected areas of various depths and features islands, fountains, and a waterfall swim-in pool bar. A separate pool for children is available at the Kids Club. All swimming pools are heated during winter.
Spa
The resort’s Planet Silla Spa offers a wide range of massages and wellness treatments using natural extracts and ancient traditional techniques from various countries that rejuvenate the body and reenergize the senses. The Spa also has a Turkish Hammam, a Finnish Sauna, a Jacuzzi and a Steam Bath. It is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. All spa services are subject to charge.
Gym
Located within the Silla Spa, the Gym is equipped with the state of the art TechnoGym™ equipment, providing for personal workouts while enjoying the sea view.
Paddle Tennis & Sports Courts
The Sports area at Lahami Bay Beach Resort includes a Paddle Tennis court, two Pickle Ball courts and a multi-court for Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball and Mini-football. All Courts have night lighting. Paddle tennis rackets are available for rent and are subject to charge. Table Tennis, Boccia and Beach Volleyball are available free of charge.
Kids Club
For our younger guests, the Kids Club has a large indoors entertainment area and a swimming pool heated in winter with its own waterfall. Kids of age 6 to 12 years are accepted. The kids are invited to explore hermit crabs and shells at the beach and to take part in arts and crafts activities and organized games indoors. Bubbling introductory diving courses are available at the resort’s Diving Centre on request. The Kids Club is open daily from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00.
Water Sports
Our Abu Soma Riders windsurfing and kitesurfing centre is privileged with the special conditions of the bay formation ideal for learning windsurfing, kitesurfing and wing foiling and offers canoes and pedal boats to explore the protected waters of the bay. Billiards
Enjoyable hours can be spent in good company playing billiards or table games at the games lounge. Billiards are subject to charge.
Library
The library is a quiet retreat with an interesting collection of books in different languages.
Evening Entertainment
The resort organizes a weekly traditional oriental dinner and a spectacular oriental show for the guests to discover local flavours and folklore. During summer, live music can be enjoyed in the evening on the spacious terraces around the pool, and beach parties are held at the Beduina Beach Tent.
